Motorsports, as with any sport, is an intense physical activity and the better prepared we are
physically, the more we are able to perform at our best. This section of our site is dedicated to
providing valuable information about overall health, nutrition and training programs designed
specifically to give She Racers the greatest advantage.
We are very pleased to have Julie Gerrish as the official health and fitness consultant for She Racing.
Julie has extensive experience in all aspects of physical fitness and specializes in intensive training
programs for women. Our Health and Fitness pages showcase the series of programs she has
designed to focus on the most essential components for women in motorsports.
About Julie
Julie has been an avid fitness enthusiast her whole life and has been personal trainer and group
fitness instructor since 2007. She is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports
Medicine, a certified boot camp instructor, and a certified TRX Suspension Training instructor.
Her studio, Julie Gerrish Fitness, located in Sturbridge Massachusetts, is set up with a full complement
of training equipment where she offers a variety of workouts and personal training programs. Julie
believes that fitness should be part of a whole-life approach, incorporating exercise, healthy eating
and a healthy lifestyle. |
